Regarding insurance and liability, Easyfairs has established the following:
Stand Insurance
Easyfairs offers a collective stand insurance, which exhibitors can join at an attractive rate. For all questions about the collective stand insurance, please refer to: www.inevexco.co.uk.
Welding on the Stand
Gas cannisters
- Only a working supply is allowed on the exhibition floor, i.e. 1 cylinder that is secured against falling.
- The remaining supply must be stored in a ventilated, enclosed space separate from the building, at least 15 meters from the venue.
- At the end of each exhibition day, the valves on the cylinders must be closed.
Protection
- Work areas must be properly shielded from visitors using a partition made of hard plastic or glass. Visitors must not be able to come into contact with heated parts or open flames.
- The floor must also be protected, for example with a rubber mat.
- A fire extinguisher and fire blanket are mandatory on the stand.
- Demonstrations must be given by trained personnel only.
- Electric welding fume extraction is mandatory.
