The Multifunctional Sample Carousel enables the fully automatic sampling of samples with varying sizes. You determine the size of the samples, and how many samples of a particular size you need. Whereas the Sample Carousel could already take multiple samples completely automatically, the Multifunctional Sample Carousel takes things one step further. As the name suggests, this solution allows you to specify exactly what the sample sizes should be and how many samples of those sizes should be taken.

MUNSCH is an established manufacturer of plastic lined and solid plastic centrifugal pumps. All centrifugal pumps can be supplied according to EN-ISO standards and/or customer specifications. MUNSCH plastic centrifugal pumps can be equipped with a mechanical seal in a single or double version. This shaft seal, type REA-F, was developed entirely in-house and based on years of experience, especially for the MUNSCH pump. The shaft seal has a very robust construction that guarantees a very long lifespan. Also MUNSCH centrifugal pumps can be equipped with a magnetic coupling. These magnetically coupled pumps are suitable for clean as well as contaminated products.

Due to the more stringent EU regulations, recent examples are related to silica and titaniumdioxide, knowledge on dustiness and even more important the presence of nanoparticles in this dust is getting critical for the use of these products in the European Union. Organs such as REACH and ECHA more and more require quantitative information on nanoparticles in products and the potential exposure associated with the presence of these nanoparticles. To investigate these features in line with EC recommendations, the small rotating drum (Nanodrum) as described in the EN 17199-4 standard should be used. The research equipment decribed in this standard is however not commercially available and has been developped in house. We are now capable of assesing the nano dustiness of materials using our Small Roatating Drum !

The Nauta® conical screw vacuum dryer is a universal batch dryer suitable for drying materials such as powders, granules, pastes and viscous slurries, especially when products are heat sensitive, contain solvents and are toxic or explosive. The Nauta® conical screw vacuum dryer is capable of handling products that become heavy and sticky during drying and can also be used for vacuum operations such as reaction/crystallisation, heating/cooling, sterilisation, liquid/solid separation and de-aeration.

Hosokawa Micron B.V. has a range of small laboratory mixers in her delivery programme which are already applied in many laboratories. For testing and experimental purposes small batches of product can be produced in this small mixer. The result of these tests can be used for scaling up to larger mixer sizes. The new range of USDA Dairy Accepted and EHEDG compliant DCSR-2T slide rail valves perfectly match the highest standards in today’s process industry. UNRIVALLED AND UNIQUE DESIGN The dairy, food, pet food and pharmaceutical industries are full of processes that require regular cleaning. Consequently, easy inspection and quick access to the inside have become key features for rotary valves in these industries. The DCSR-2T USDA Dairy Accepted and EHEDG compliant rail valves are the perfect fit for any sanitary application where prevention of product contamination is top of the list. The valves are available in drop through or blow through version and are equipped with a tapered rotor and body. This design ensures that at no point the rotor and body will come into contact while opening or closing the valve. Also, when extracted the rotor can be smoothly rotated for easy cleaning. The clearances of the rotor are prefixed during manufacturing, so no special tools or techniques are needed for the clearance settings. The DCSR-2T valves are supplied in stainless steel 316 and are standard equipped with an 8 bladed rotor with radiused u-shaped pockets. All product contact surfaces are standard polished to 0,8 µm, optional up to 0,4 µm. DCSR-2T rotary valves are suitable for use in dairy, food, pet food, pharmaceutical and other dry bulk material handling industries.
